What to Eat Before & After a Sculpting Session for Best Results

Here’s a simple guide to what you should (and shouldn’t) eat before and after your session to get the most out of your treatment:


What to Eat Before Your Session:

Your goal before a session is to be hydrated, energized, and inflammation-free.


1. Drink Plenty of Water (and skip coffee/alcohol): Hydration is key to flushing out the fat and toxins released during treatments. Aim for at least 32oz of water the day before and the day of your appointment.


2. Light, Balanced Meal (2–3 hours before): Choose a small meal with lean protein + healthy carbs + fiber to keep your blood sugar stable. Try this combo:

  • A smoothie with spinach, almond milk, banana, and protein

  • Quinoa with veggies and chickpeas

  • A veggie wrap with hummus


3. Avoid salty, greasy, or processed foods. These cause bloating and water retention, which can make your results less noticeable right after your session.


What to Eat After Your Session:

Post-treatment, your body is working hard to eliminate released fat cells. You want to support your lymphatic system and avoid anything that could slow the detox process.


1. Keep Hydrating: Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water every day for the next 3–5 days.


2. Load Up on Clean, Anti-Inflammatory Foods: Think whole, plant-based foods.

  • Leafy greens (spinach, kale, arugula)

  • Berries, citrus, cucumber, and pineapple

  • Avocados, nuts, and seeds for healthy fats


3. Focus on Lean Protein: Protein helps repair tissues and keeps you full.

4. Avoid:

  • Sugar and alcohol (they slow detox and cause inflammation)
